Drivers shine at Lothian’s Coach Driver of the YearLothian Motorcoaches and Eve Coaches drivers show off their skills at our Longstone Depot

Lothian’s Coach Driver of the Year event took place on Tuesday 11 February at our Longstone Depot, with drivers from both Eve Coaches and Lothian Motorcoaches representing their teams.

Following a theory test and two practical driving examinations, there was very little separating all eight of our finalists who demonstrated an excellent standard of driving throughout.

Craig Easton was named Eve Coaches Driver of the Year after a brilliant display of professional driving, narrowing beating Jason Hanney who took second place. Colin Russell won the top prize for Lothian Motorcoaches after an exemplary performance, with Brian Shankland close behind in second place.

Craig and Jason will now represent Eve Coaches, with Colin and Brian flying the flag for Lothian Motorcoaches, at the UK Coach Rally Finals in Blackpool over the weekend of 12-13 April.

Congratulations to Craig and Colin on their victories, and good luck to all representing Lothian and their teams at the finals in Blackpool. We know that they will show the rest of the country what we do best.
