'None for the road'

Lothian is supporting the #ArriveAlive campaign to reduce instances of drink or drug driving over the festive period, in partnership with Police Scotland and Safer Scotland (Scottish Government).

Just one drink can put you over the limit.
You can be over the limit even the morning after.
Almost half of all roadside drug tests are positive.

Alcohol and drugs can slow down your responses, making a collision more likely. This can lead to severe injury or death, as well as a driving ban, hefty fine and a prison sentence.

Don’t risk it. Plan your journey ahead of time, travel with Lothian and stay safe.
