Good news! There are no service alerts in effect on our network that we are currently aware of.
Princes Street west end junction
Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve part of the West Approach Road and Lothian Road and are instead diverted via Morrison Link, Morrison Street and West Maitland Street easr bound until 04:30 1st September.
Due to roadworks, parts of the A1 around The Jewel and Newcraighall will be closed between 1930 hrs and 0600 hrs for approx. 2 nights from Wed. 4th Sept.
Diversions:
Services 4 49 – From The Jewel, buses will turn using Asda (The Jewel) and divert via The
Jewel, Duddingston Park South and Newcraighall Road to Fort Kinnaird in both
directions.
Service 4 will terminate outside Fort Kinnaird - buses will not serve Queen Margaret Uni.
Service 106 – will terminate at Queen Margaret University. Buses will not serve Fort Kinnaird during this diversion.
Service X7 - Between Milton Road and Dolphingstone Junction, buses will divert via the A199, Haddington Road, Linkfield Road, Musselburgh High Street, Bridge Street, North High Street, Edinburgh Road and Milton Road East in both directions.
Service X6 - Between Milton Road and Wallyford Junction, buses will divert via Salter’s Road, Carberry Road, Inveresk, Newbigging, Musselburgh High Street, Bridge Street, North High Street, Edinburgh Road and Milton Road East in both directions.
Service 5 – Between Milton Road and ASDA (The Jewel), buses will divert via Duddingston Park South and The Jewel in both directions. This diversion will only be in place between 1930 hrs on Thursday 5th September and 0600 hrs on Friday 6th September.
Due to cable works, part of Deans Road will be closed Southbound from 2000 on Tuesday 3rd September until 0600 hrs on Wednesday 4th September.
Diversions:
Services 73 X27 X28 – between Bathgate Fire Station and Deans Road, buses will be diverted via the A779 and Carnegie Road towards Deans only.
Journeys on Service X18 heading from Bathgate, which would normally terminate at Royston Roundabout will also use this diversion - Buses operating the full route are unaffected,
Due to water works, services passing through Princes Street (West End) will be diverted on Sunday 1st September between 0030 and 0430 hrs.

Services 25 100 N3 N18 N25 N26 N44 N107 - Between Princes Street and Haymarket, buses
will divert via Lothian Road, West Approach Road, Morrison Link and Morrison Street
heading westbound only.
Services N11 N16 N124 - Between Lothian Road and Princes Street buses will divert via West Approach Road, Morrison Link, Morrison Street and Shandwick Place heading citybound only.
Services 19 37 N37 N43 - Between Princes Street and Queensferry Street, buses will divert via Frederick Street, George Street, Charlotte Square and Hope Street heading westbound only.
Due to bridge works, buses will divert away from the West Approach Road and Westfield Road heading Citybound from Mon. 2nd Sept. for approx. 12 days.

Services 22 N22 (Citybound Only) – between Balgreen Road and Princes Street, buses will be diverted via Gorgie Road, Dalry Road, West Maitland Street, Atholl Place and Shandwick Place heading eastbound only.
Services 30 N30 (Citybound Only) – between Gorgie Road and Princes Street, buses will be diverted via Gorgie Road, Dalry Road, West Maitland Street, Atholl Place and Shandwick Place heading eastbound only.
Services X27 X28 (Citybound Only) - between Gorgie Road and Princes Street, buses will be diverted via Gorgie Road, Dalry Road, West Maitland Street, Atholl Place and Shandwick Place heading eastbound only.
Services 1 2 (Citybound Only) – between Balgreen Road and Gorgie Road, buses will be diverted via Balgreen Road and Gorgie Road heading eastbound only.
To allow tree cutting to take place, part of Station Road in Uphall will be closed between approx. 0800 hrs and 1800 hrs on Monday 2nd September.
Diversion:
Service 72 – from West Main Street and Station Road, buses will divert via the A899, Dechmont Roundabout and the A89 in both directions.
Due to water works, part of Lothian Road will be closed Southbound between 0430 hrs on Sunday 1st September and 0700 hrs on Monday 2nd September.

Services 1 10 11 16 24 34 36 47 124 N11 N16 – between Princes Street and Lothian Road (Usher Hall), buses will divert via Shandwick Place, Torphichen Place, Morrison Link and the West Approach Road heading southbound only.
Services 22 30 X27 X28 N22 N30– between Princes Street and the West Approach Road, buses will divert via Shandwick Place, Torphichen Place and Morrison Link heading southbound only.
Due to resurfacing works, buses will be unable to access Bingham Avenue from Thursday 29th August for approx. 8 Days.
Diversion:
Service 4 – between Milton Road West and Duddingston Park South, buses will be diverted via Duddingston Row, Milton Road West and Mountcastle Drive South in both directions.
Due to utility works, Dalmahoy Road will be closed from Thursday 29th August for approximately 5 days
Diversion -
Service 70 – The service will run between Gyle Centre and Ratho (Hallcroft Park) ONLY, Buses will be unable to serve the section between Dalmahoy Road and Hermiston Park & Ride for the duration on the works.
Due to gas works, part of Cameron Toll Roundabout will be closed from Start of service on Mon. 26th Aug. for approx. 8 weeks.
Due to resurfacing works, Loganlea Road will be closed from 0900 hrs on Thurs. 15th Aug for approx. 2 weeks.
Due to gas works, part of Grange Loan will be closed from 1600 hrs on Tues. 13th Aug until further notice.
Due to water works, Marchmont Crescent will be closed from Start of service on Mon. 12th Aug. for approx. 4 months.
Due to parked cars, buses are unable to serve Lochend Drive from Tues 2nd Jan until further notice.
Due to redevelopment works, Hillend Terminus will be closed until further notice.
Diversion:
Service 4 – buses will terminate on Biggar Road at Fairmilehead. They will not be able to serve Hillend for the duration of these works.
