Happy Birthday to East Lothian Buses
Service 113 celebrates its first birthday.
A year after introducing service 113 from Pencaitland and Ormiston to the city centre, the route has been hailed a success.
The rural operation has its own distinctive livery on a fleet of modern low floor single deck buses.
Passengers have been delighted with the service commenting:
‘The 113 is a very good service, all the drivers are very nice and helpful’
‘Very good reliable service with pleasant drivers’
‘Lovely new buses with striking colours and livery’
Since its launch on 11 June 2012, we have extra journeys at peak times due to demand on the route.
George McKendrick, Operations Manager of Lothian Buses, said:
It has been a pleasure over the last 12 months building a relationship with the people of East Lothian. We look forward to growing the business and enhancing the service we provide in the area.
