Christmas is coming ....and so is our Grotto Bus

We are launching our Christmas Grotto Bus on Sunday 2 December at the Castle Street Christmas Fair.

To thank our passengers and the local community for their support during 2012, our mobile Winter Wonderland, complete with Santa Claus, will pop-up in the City during December.

On Sundays 2, 9 and 16 December, between 12 and 4pm, the grotto will be stationed on Castle Street, as part of the Ethical Christmas Fair and the Real Scottish Christmas Fair, where children young and old will have the opportunity to meet Santa and for a charitable donation, receive a token gift.

All proceeds will go to the Lothian Buses Charity of the Year, Lothian Autistic Society.

Ian Craig, managing director of Lothian Buses, says:

Christmas should be a merry time and we’re delighted to be able to bring some extra festive cheer to Edinburgh, and raise money for Lothian Autistic Society with our Grotto Bus.

It is fantastic to team up with this year’s Castle Street markets to give something back to our passengers. Our engineering team have transformed one of our open top buses into an eye catching Santa’s Grotto.
