Sheriffhall Park & Ride is Five

The popular Park & Ride site celebrates its 5th birthday.

Sheriffhall Park & Ride site, located between Danderhall and the Sheriffhall roundabout, opened to the public on 3 February 2008.

More than 300 motorists now make use of the free parking and choice of bus services 33 or 49 to get into town daily.

George McKendrick, operations manager said:

Sheriffhall Park and Ride has been an outstanding success and is a great example of a council working closely with a local bus operator. Over the past five years, the site has proved popular with commuters and local residents looking for fast transport links to the city.

During peak times there are 10 buses leaving the site every hour, Monday to Friday and there is a staffed terminal building, where you can wait in comfort for your bus from Monday to Friday 0645-1015 & 1530-1900.
