48/X48 - will be withdrawn but is being replaced by:

City Centre to Ingliston Park & Ride and Ratho – Service 12 is extended from the Gyle Centre via Ingliston Park & Ride to Ratho off-peak Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.  New service X12 serves Ratho and Ingliston Park & Ride Monday to Friday at peak times (X12 journeys serve RBS Gogarburn).

City Centre to Sheriffhall Park & Ride and Dalkeith – Service 33 is extended to Sheriffhall Park & Ride.  Evening and Sunday journeys will terminate at Little France, however service 49 will continue to serve Sheriffhall Park & Ride at these times.  Monday to Friday peak time journeys will extend to Dalkeith Heights & Dalkeith Campus.

2 – Revised route – will run via Nicolson Street, Clerk Street, South Clerk Street and East Preston Street in both directions.  Minor timetable changes.

4 – Revised timetable including more early evening buses Monday to Friday and earlier morning journeys from Oxgangs and The Jewel on Sundays.

7 – Revised route & timetable – extended from Ferniehill to serve Royal Infirmary via Old Dalkeith Road (replaces service 33 on Ferniehill Road).

8 – Revised route & timetable – will run via Leith Street instead of St. Andrew Square.  Late evening journeys now run between Muirhouse and Surgeons’ Hall only.

12 – Revised route & timetable – extended from the Gyle Centre via Ingliston Park & Ride to Ratho off-peak Monday to Friday and all day Saturday & Sunday.  This replaces service 48 between Ratho and the City Centre.

X12 – NEW LIMITED STOP SERVICE: replaces X48 between Ratho and the City Centre via Ingliston Park & Ride and Maybury.  Service X12 runs during morning & afternoon peak times Monday to Friday and on Public Holidays. X12 journeys serve RBS Gogarburn.

14 – Revised route – now runs via West Richmond Street and St. Leonards Street in both directions (instead of service 2).

15/15A – Minor timetable changes including the introduction of a Public Holiday timetable.

19 – Revised timetable with evening buses running between Granton and Leith Street only.  Sunday daytime buses will run between Granton and Lochend only. For evening buses to Lochend see services 25, 34 & 49. For evening and Sunday buses to Craigentinny see services  25 & 49.

20 – Revised route & timetable – extended from Hermiston Gait via Edinburgh Park to the Gyle Centre.

23 – Revised Monday to Friday timetable – will run every 12 minutes between Trinity & Greenbank Drive roundabout during the daytime.

24 – Minor timetable & route changes with Sunday buses extended from Scottish Gas HQ to Granton Square via Waterfront Avenue.

25 – Revised Monday to Friday and Sunday timetables.  

26 – UPDATE: Buses will continue to use Ormiston Road Muirpark Road and Muirpark Terrace at the moment.  This is due to the new terminal point not yet being ready to use. 

Minor timetable & route change – in Tranent, buses will run in both directions along Haddington Road to serve the new housing development at Muirpark Wynd (buses no longer serve the one-way loop via Ormiston Road and Muirpark Terrace). Our services 44/A & X44 continue to serve Ormiston Road.

N26 – Minor route change – extends from Port Seton to serve Seton Sands Caravan Park.

27 – Revised timetable with buses running every 12 minutes Monday to Friday daytime.  Minor changes to Saturday timetable.

29 – Revised Monday to Friday timetable – off-peak daytime buses which previously served Mayfield will run from Silverknowes to Gilmerton only.  Revised Sunday timetable. 

30 – Revised timetable – Monday to Saturday daytime frequency will be every 12 minutes.

31 – Revised timetable on all days with an earlier morning journey from Hopefield to the City on Mondays to Saturdays.

X31 – Revised route & timetable – will serve Hopefield and serve all stops between Haymarket and Salisbury Place.

33 – Revised route & timetable (to replace 48/X48) – extended to Sheriffhall Park & Ride instead of Ferniehill. Monday to Friday peak time journeys will extend to Dalkeith Heights & Dalkeith Campus. Evening and Sunday journeys will terminate at Little France (service 49 will continue to serve Sheriffhall Park & Ride at these times).  Ferniehill Road continues to be served by service 7.

41 – Revised timetable with more buses serving Marchmont, Blackford and Morningside on Sundays.

44/44A – Revised timetable Monday to Saturday.  On Sundays the frequency will be every 30 minutes with buses extended from Wallyford to serve Tranent.

47 – Sunday daytime buses will serve Penicuik Ladywood every hour.

X47 – additional stop at Kaimes Crossroads (north side) in both directions.
