Lothian Buses employees cycle raises money for cancer charity.
Andy Findlay, Dean Thomson, Neil Fraser, Mark Heritage and Brian Hannah from our Central Depot took part in last year’s Pedal for Scotland charity event and raised £1,200 for CCLASP.
Over 7,000 people took part in the cycle challenge ride from Glasgow to Edinburgh, which has now been running for 13 years.
Andy Findlay, Central Depot Manager said:
We all had a great day taking part in the cycle. It was a brilliant way for us to get fit while raising money for this worthy charity which Lothian Buses have supported for many years.
Ian Craig, Managing Director said:
This is a fantastic amount of money for 5 people to have raised. I would like to congratulate them on their efforts.
CCLASP is an Edinburgh based children's charity, set up in 1994 by Valerie and Bill Simpson to help support children and families whose lives are effected by life threatening illness.
